Priyadarshini is currently working as a General Manager - Academics and Clinical Research Department at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center, New Delhi. She was associated with Fortis Healthcare group as the Pan India operation Head for Academics and Clinical Research.
Her expertise and aspiration lies in developing Clinical Research programs for healthcare paternity working closely with pharmaceuticals/medical device companies and doctors to facilitate them in carrying out various phases of Clinical research. She has earned the opportunity for carrying out global projects in India in conjunction with various world-renowned Academics Institutes, Multinational Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices companies and Government agencies. In her experience of over 15 years she has overlooked more than 500 projects. Her research work is mainly in the field of Cardiology and has been presented in various prestigious national and international conferences along with publications in the highest index journals. Notable amongst these was the TUXEDO study (a randomized trial of two stents); where she was the operation head for this project. The study was published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine with me as a co-author and it received very good coverage in several scientific forums. True to her strong academic inclination she takes keen interest in imparting training programs in Clinical Research and has also delivered lectures in national & international forums.
Currently, she is involved with AICT PCR Clinical Course for the Asia Pacific region cardiologist, paramedics, and industry personnel.
She has held various roles as ‘Regional Coordinator’ for Duke Institute of Clinical Research Institute, USA for two of their large multi-centric global projects. She has also been appointed by various top international institutions for providing her expertise in Clinical Research operations. To name a few, ICAHN School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, New York had hired her as a Lead Trainer for their project and Nova Nordisk has hired her as the National Lead Coordinator for India for their global project. Her institution is one of the best training ground for students interested in Clinical Research Operations. She has had the honor to represent India for best practices in the field of clinical research at global meetings.
She is currently pursuing PhD in Public Health from Amity University, Noida. She is a life time member of the Indian Society of Clinical Research (ISCR) and Forum for Ethics Committee Review in India (FERCI).
